Load A Spud - Kalamazoo

Family-owned and run, this new restaurant surprised me in many ways. The potatoes that form the base for the wide variety of available toppings are outstanding by themselves-enormous, flavorful, baked to perfection. The menu has a wide variety of options to top/customize your spud; each one we tried was packed with flavor. No salt was needed. I consider that as a mark of great food. This establishment is not pretentious-you get great food assembled to order very quickly as you go down the line to the register by friendly and efficient staff. Be warned-one loaded potato will be both lunch and dinner that day...the portions are mighty. Bring your appetite and come back often. Oh, and did I mention you can get tacos, too? Yep.

1st time here my lady lives in the zoo been bragging about it, now I see why.. I'm a huge potatoe head eat them anyway possible, these???? are the ish....huge n they not stingy w toppings hmm hmm yum, I know it sounds crazy but I' normally use french onion dip/ Philadelphia cream cheese on bake tatoes sour cream I only use in tacos anyhow,, amazing y'all need open one these here in south bend/mishawaka areas I PROMISE YOU'LL MAKE A KILLING JS.. So many options. Great flavors and very filling. I had the brisket sweet potato. My wife had the shrimp alfredo.

We were in town last night for a show at Miller Aud and needed a quick place to eat?so glad we found this one! The owner took care of us and was very informative and so friendly. Portions are huge and the flavors are on point. Highly recommend the jerk chicken sweet potato. We live closer to GR so we will definitely be checking out the other locations there!

Great food that is ready quickly and can be healthy (if you want). The servings are big and inexpensive. Their butter is dairy free and they have lots of veggie toppings, so this is a great place for vegans/vegetarians. The staff is always polite and makes my orders correctly. Would recommend!
