Bold - Kalamazoo

A dinner in Bold. Really great service and ambience. This was brilliant, but on the expensive side of the value equation so 4 vs 5 stars. If money is not a factor, I would recommend Bold. $162 for 2. Everyone with a drink, appetizer, not a desert, but has included tip. About my food: loved my plate. Excellent presentation aroma and very hot. Flavor supported the perception. Scallops perfect sea red, crab rich and fleshy, and shrimp very large and perfectly cooked. I would order again and if you decided to drop the coin, I recommend you try.

Photos are of small plates whitefish and shrimp. They are beautifully presented. Perfectly cooked. State-of-the-art atmosphere with dedicated bussing staff as you would find in a large city. Bolder flavors would increase my review at these prices.

For dinner. It is best to make a reservation. The small plates. The white fish was delicious and the Risotto was the best. I love the bread pudding. Also the chopped salad. It was very good. Food delicious and server excellent. Tues is 40% on small plates.

My husband and I sat at the bar, and we had a fantastic experience! The bartender was incredible, and the food was just as impressive. We would happily make a special trip just to dine at BOLD again!

Fantastic restaurant! The food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was exceptional. My mom and I shared several small plates, and I thought the portions were quite generous and cooked to perfection! The staff was attentive, especially in ensuring my mom, who has a disability, was comfortable. Initially, we had reservations in the bar area, which my mom was fine with, but when they noticed her condition, they immediately offered us a table in the dining room. Although my mom could have managed at the high-top table, it wouldn't have been as easy or comfortable for her, so I truly appreciated their consideration. Additionally, my mom has several dietary restrictions, and they were very accommodating in that regard. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back!
