Asian House - Kalamaria

I was extremely disappointed with the Crabcake Naruto sushi dish at this restaurant. The sushi was made with smoked salmon, which was not indicated on the menu. The packaging was also poorly done, making it difficult to remove the sushi from it. This was by far the worst sushi I have ever tried. I cannot speak to the quality of their other Asian cuisine, but based on this experience, I would not recommend it. I have attached a picture of how a crabcake should look for reference.

This restaurant is one of my favorite spots in town, located just above Nea Paralia. During the summer, you can dine outside and enjoy the beautiful seaside view. I have tried a variety of dishes including noodles, rice, ramen, and most of their sushi - the dragon rolls are my favorite! The bao buns are also delicious, especially the extra spicy ones with pork. Overall, the food is tasty and reasonably priced. One unique feature of this restaurant is that they serve filtered water for free, which is much tastier than bottled water. They also offer delivery service right to your doorbell.

The service at this restaurant was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is spacious and comfortable. Although the decor doesn't necessarily reflect an Asian theme, it is bright and inviting. The menu offers a variety of Japanese and Chinese dishes to choose from. However, the quality of the food was disappointing. I ordered a combo of 12 sushi rolls and found them to be dry and lacking in freshness. The seaweed was chewy and the fish didn't taste fresh. Personally, I did not enjoy the sushi and felt unwell after eating it. I cannot speak for the other dishes, but based on my experience, I would not recommend the sushi at this restaurant.

We had a mixed starter plate, sushi and ramen. The service was okay and polite. But the food was awful and not authentic at all. Cinnamon in a spring roll? Ramen with Mi noodles? Also the egg of the Ramen was way too salty. I’ve eaten in many asian restaurant but this was by far the worse. I don’t think the owner has ever eaten real authentic asian food.

Ordered the “Vietnamese PHO,” and I gotta say, it neither looks or tastes anything like pho…
