Bidrage med feedbackI ordered a 10-inch personal sized cheese pizza for lunch. Ummmm... the crust to toppings ratio is way off, like 4 crust to 6 toppings . But the (tiny) center part was good
Kona Town Market has given us a fun and friendly place to grocery shop. There are homemade specials like chicken pot pie. We look forward to choosing a thin crust pizza or taking home a cup of hot curried chicken soup or vegetarian chili. The owners know the area and have collected unique gift items that local artist have created. I always take a look in the corner of their store to find a recent treasure. All of this in a small intimate neighborhood setting. Jan Bob
I am so happy I found out this gem while on the Big Island. They have a great menu of food to enjoy while you can enjoy a view. Or, the grocery selection and already made food were wonderful. It?s high quality so the prices are higher but it?s worth it. They have a variety of snacks and options for on the go as well. The gentleman working was so friendly. I tried several things but the Kona Coffee mini pie may of been the greatest treat I?ve ever eaten. It?s right outside of the main attraction of downtown, a simple walk to get to. Definitely recommend the Kona Town Market for higher end foods and your grocery needs!
I found my new lunch shop. The Chicken Salad on Brioche was excellent. My daughter had a Pepperoni Pizza and ate it all by herself. Eating area upstairs had a beautiful view and the quiet is priceless.
We got the curry chicken soup and while the flavor was fine there were no veggies or chicken in the soup that was unexpected to have just the liquid soup with nothing in it. The veggie chili was fine, a bit too spicy but tolerable for a small meal. The couscous was ok and the sandwich was ok. Nothing was really good that made me feel like i wanted to return and a bit pricey for the portions.
