Bidrage med feedbackWhether the many positive and partly very emotional good reviews we were on a Saturday evening in the olive. table reservation has worked fine, the greeting was very friendly, almost friendly. the restaurant was full, but not loud. to now full score. the menu indicated that there is no 0815 cook on the work that produces only gyros, souvlaki with fries and the like. The tzaziki was delicious, but we lacked a little of the bums through the garlic. there was something missing. but this is personal taste. the biftekakia as an appetizer were very good. but nothing else we had expected. the main course was winged with bacon on spinat. the bacon was unfortunately much too thick for the small wing pieces, so the court was very salty. he said that the salty one is on the bacon and that would be like that. that was little professional. What was also noticed was that a hectic was in the restaurant, as the waiters sometimes ran instead of going and was very frequenter gastronomy. also we were after max. 75 minutes with 2 firsts, 1 mains and drinks out again. there is a loss of comfort. the court order is clearly too fast for a cozy evening, who wants to fix completely ok. who seeks the obligatory Greek salat as an appetizer or the ouzo on’s house, he must go to classical Greek. that is not available here or you have forgotten us. Conclusion: the pre-determined sirbes of social networks may have made our ideas appear too high. but we will come back to make another picture.
Through the advertisement in the local leaf wat we have come to this address. we live next to the bar, but otherwise.
A very good concept with a Greek atmosphere and exclusive cuisine and international wines.
The experiences we made when visiting this restaurant were far beyond our imagination, unfortunately not in positive. we were there with a company, so we stayed through to the end.In the first impression the waiter of this house was very tormented and we felt in this house as disturbing factors. first we ordered the drinks. among others beer and non-alcoholic beverages. the arrangement on the table with wine and water glasses was destroyed in the truest sense by the waiter. in a type of “roll handle” they were removed from the table at record speed. I was somewhat irritated; the idea of tasting a wine at the main course, I therefore threw it quite quickly.I ordered an appetizer and a main dish. to choose the supplements you should contact the service staff according to the map. well, I asked what would be the choice for the main court. “Salat, pommes Frittes” was the comprehensive answer. aha. the salat I ordered off and instead of the pommes I would like patatakia. “Gibt’s not with us” came as answer. ok, then not. I was, to say, irritated. I got the salat anyway, let us go back, which only produced an incomprehensible look at the waiter. After half an hour the waiter came, banged me a card on the table with the note that my desired appetizer would not exist, I had to choose something else. Why is this on the map??? Nothing I need, I forgot to thank the appetizer. in the meantime we were given a little broth, or without comment on the table, in a covered basket. So one could only guess what was in it, there were no wise. there was nothing, no dip, no tsatziki, no butter. good, “Drying brot makes cheek red”, we learned as a child. Maybe this kind of color comes into our pale faces. After just a one-hour waiting time the main court came. in this time the staff did not find it necessary to ask us if we want to drink something. My main dish was a bifteki with pommes frittes (which were supposed to be self-made). to judge this, much very difficult, as they could be described as lukewarm with much goodwill. the meat of the bifteki seemed to be fried in the pan and not grilled, and that up to a considerable hard burr. "Well done" would be flattering, moreover, it was so hurried that you did not taste much of the meat. the offered tsaziki came in a homeopathic dosis in a small cup and corresponded to what can be purchased commercially in the super market under the designation. The Irish steak of my wife also came “well done”. the waiter did not even ask when ordering how the steak should be fried. we have assumed a certain blue-eyeness of “medium”. teufel, teufel...Everything in everything you can complete the main course and the unexisting appetizer. we did not get what we had ordered and what came a highly questionable quality to express it politely. After the main course the obligatory espresso. He came after an eternally felt waiting period and a cigarette length in the beautiful farm of olive and was like the supplement of the main dish temperature in the same condition-honoured.Unforgettable yet. a dessert card is required. this was actually handed over to us, after half an hour waiting time and repeated requests.Brownies there was! no. too early happy. that there is not today, said the waiter. at least, now we learned before the order. instead of that he recommended us Greek griestorte with a ball of ice. good, maybe this will make me reconcile. the griestorte was after another 20 minutes waiting time (for a dessert!) maximum in order, as typical Greek I did not receive it.While our stay we often noticed that guests got dishes that were not on the map. in fact, at a more distant table we got with how the waiter courts anpries, who “do not stand on the map” in me came up the question of what to do to get in the pleasure of such a recommendation. good, we are not masters, but we were at least a company with several people. I am inclined to leave my question unanswered. Usually you get a ouzo in a Greek restaurant at the end of the visit, which goes to the house. I also think it would have been quite feasible in a society of our own dimensions. on the map was to see that there were ouzo pilavas, which already gave me a chance. he is very good, but we were too early. there was not even a “on the WIeder see” from the staff. This would also have been completely superfluous to my view and “on the theme” as there will be no re-view on our part with certainty. Neither my wife nor I could remind us of ever being served in this form in a restaurant. to call the service “improved” would be flattering. the quality of the foods was far from what we had hoped for from the ambiente of the restaurant and is not reflected in the pricing of the dishes. I'm at the highest of ambiente. You shouldn't make a comparison with Gyros-Buden and Souflaki-Imbissen, write here many. that is true, both have other claims, but are quality and in particular the service and the hospitality of the staff in the “small snack” around light years before those in a restaurant “with claim”, then it must withstand this comparison already. that the olive of my view after in no way and wise.
Beautiful ambiente, friendly service, great choice also to dine meatless, which are delicious, fair prices, the owner himself inquired whether we liked it: it has it and we come back!
