Falafel pita was delicious! I knocked off a star though because my friend ordered rice with his schnitzel and you could tell that the rice was sitting out the whole day because it was hard and not very edible. Also, I love that they sell those imported grape drinks from Israel but they’re really expensive for the small fl oz you’re getting. I understand though because import fees and tax are crazy high these days…My advice is to keep your orders simple. Stick with the classics like falafel, shawarma, hummus platters, sabich, etc. and you won’t be disappointed. Hummus and tehini at this place is really creamy and smooth just how it is in Israel
Good kosher Israeli/middle eastern food in the back of a large flea market space (can park in the back parking lot). The restaurant was spacious, in a large open space, and was low key and casual, with at counter ordering (staff brings the food to your table). Ordered several falafel plates. The pita and falafel were great. The hummus and salad it was served with was good, but not great (I’ve had a lot of fresh hummus before and this tasted more like store bought hummus). Big portions, very filling. Staff was friendly
The food here is exceptional !!! Absolutely love Gila and Zev. I can't get enough of their food. It's the only place to go for authentic kosher Israeli food !!!!
A hidden gem of a restaurant. Excellent service, quality Israeli food, a colorful journey and culinary experience, tucked away in the back of a charming mini Manhattan. I'm a new regular. 10/10 would recommended.Dietary restrictions: All good is kosher through the ORB
