Squirez - Juneau

Really not sure how the food is here.We sat at a table for over 15 minutes and never was acknowledged. So we went downstairs to the Auke bay cafe and had an awesome meal.Very disappointed

Loved this place. If you want to see autentic bar life in Juneau this is the place. Perfect location

I don't give out five stars very often, and this ended up being the third best out of 19 on the trip, so this is a very solid four-star review. This is also mostly for the food we had here, though the woman at the bar that served our soft drinks was very friendly. I'm not sure if I'd call this a dive bar, or not, but I kind of loved the atmosphere here. It was laid back and welcoming, something a place like this doesn't always achieve. The food was the star, though, and there was a lot of it. I am very picky about fish chips, but I'd go back for these any time. I would definitely say this place is worth the drive out of Juneau.
