El Sombrero - Juneau

Every time I visit Juneau, as I take away at least one meal in El Sombrero, is mandatory. Delicious and the best flan I ever had.

The service is amazing. It 's real Southern California Mexican not this new wave or Tex Mex . Just good Mexican food when you 're craving it, they have it! The "flan "Is my favorite dessert in town!

El Sombrero is a Juneau food tradition. Fresh salsa, fresh chips, and a family-run business with so much heart it makes you feel welcome and cared for from the moment you are seated. If you need a little pick-me-up or some comfort Mexican food, go to El Sombrero and say 'hi ' to Fritz and the family for me!

I consider them family and so of course they treated us well. The food is awesome and the service is great.

I love the family and friends that operate El Som daily. The jalapeño dressing is the bomb!
