While traveling from Iowa to Texas, we stopped at this restaurant and loved it so much that we had to return on our way back to Iowa! The restaurant is very vegan-friendly, with waitresses who are happy to substitute tofu for meat or leave out eggs in dishes like fried rice. My partner enjoyed the spicy tofu, while I tried the delicious tofu dish. We also sampled mango fried rice and pineapple fried rice, both of which were amazing. The veggie egg rolls (sans egg) and spring rolls were also outstanding. If you find yourself in or near Joplin, it's definitely worth giving this place a try!

On Saturday shortly before closing, large service, tons of entree options, large lunch plate deal. pad thai w tofu vegetables outlaw tofu were both delicious.

A charming little Thai restaurant. I could get my employees to go with me, partly because of their strong show on yelp, it was one of the top restaurants for joplin. the menu has a lot of tofu dishes and some mock duck dishes, including many things I have never seen on other Thai menus. I ordered outlaw tofu mostly for the name. So I didn't feel like I went to another Thai restaurant because they had a few unique dishes, plus Maurer-Jars. I felt definitiw as if I had Thai food in missouri, and to be clear, I mean that on the best possible wise.
