Granny Shaffer's - Joplin

Today I had their outstanding fried chicken with mashed potatoes, cream gravy, and green beans. The dinner rolls were great. The owner, Michael, took time out to visit. Great place!

We had a variety of items over the years The ham is one of the better slices you'll find anywhere- highly recommend a visit.

Food was tasty, more food than you can eat in one sitting. Only issue was waitress didn't come back after dropping the food off, I had to get the hostess to find her, it was good that there was nothing wrong with the food. Just needed the bill.

The service was great, the food was undercooked so it didn't sit well with us. The coffee was wonderful. Cinnamon rolls are huge and apparently really good even the next day (husband and daughters opinion).

If you like some of grandma's cooking then you will not be disappointed! Great wait staff with amazing service!
