Big R's Bbq Pies - Joplin

Was on the way through joplin and had to check her cake. the cherry vanilla chocolate cream pipe is divine, beautiful country diner atmosphere and service was great! I'll stop here and try a new piece of cake every time I go through! (I bet you eat other things is also good, but I'm a **** addict, lol.

Great staff friendly and she got everything right she was on the ball .My lemonade,sweet tea were good and the tower of onions surprised us it was a big serving fresh hot and fast. I tried the turkey ,brisket and grandmas potato salad they were. All good but my favorites were the ribs and baked beans. My husband had ham he said taste like ham not sweet . We ordered the strawberry pies to go They have so many pies to choose from next time I want the peanut butter chocolate pie . Thank you for such great food and especially the staff.

Service was very good and the foods are delicious. Definitely, we will comeback there. Because I will try their pinacolada pie. So, I got two meat are brisket and ribs with two sides for $16.95. Yummmmmm.........

Big r's is best bbq in joplin. Love the potato salad and beans. I had chicken fried Chicken so good fried with light batter and gravy is perfect. Portions are big and great as leftovers later. If you go must try the pie made by scratch. 2nd meal is burger with onion ring on it very juicy and fresh. I miss this restaurant and is a gem for bbq in joplin.

Easy to find. No truck parking. Found empty lot(after hours) across the street. Not busy. Ordered food, came less than 5 minutes of ordering. Bbq beans are dee-lish. Small portions. Ordered another entree to go. Bill was less than $40.
