Chá Lóu Cha Lao Dim Sum - Johor Bahru

Visited this dim sum restaurant twice ever since I heard about it. Really one of the best dim sum I've had, some of the highlights for us are chee cheong fun/ xiao long bao/ har gao/ custard lava buns! The skin of the chee cheong fun is soft like cloud and melts in your mouth! The rest that are mentioned just taste amazing! Service is fast during our two visits there though some food can come pretty slow (towards end of our meal). In our case, it was the chee cheong fun. Will definitely reccomend this restaurant and come by once in a while for good dimsum!

Drop in for a weekday Brunch. Not crowded, peacefully enjoyed great DIM SUM. Especially Steamed Prawn Crystal Dumpling 虾饺 , ordered and finished 4x. Steamed Sticky Rice with Lotus Leaf 荷叶饭 , fragrance smell splash to your nose when open up Lotus leaf, tasty mild Salty fish and salty egg when your mouth filled. A definte execellent eating place. Cost rate on mid-high range, based on local average income.

Went and didn’t need to queue so that was great! A little pricier for their dim sum but I guess it matches the atmosphere. Service could be better in terms of friendliness. I must say they do have good dim sum with pretty black custard buns with gold brush strokes. Wished there was more variety.

Very good service directly from the entrance to the restaurant on level 2. Waiters were very attentive to customers and would always ensure that your tea cup is filled. The speed of food was also very fast. This dim The sum is of quality and we have paid RM103 for 10 plates food. Come back soon!

I cost the food here. Place is clean and tidy. The dining area is on the second floor and there is an elevator that will take you with you for older or wheelchair users if necessary. Dim sums are served by a shopping cart that is beautiful and nostalgic.
