Sam's Seafood Steakhouse - Johnstown

The food is great! What can I say, delicious service was greeting! Can't wait to go back!

I ordered a delicious steak at the restaurant, but the potatoes were sour and didn't seem authentic. I also ordered onions and mushrooms which were missing from my meal. Additionally, I was given the option of soup or salad, so I inquired about the soup options, only to be charged for it. When I reached out to inform them of my experience, they offered me a $6 gift card as compensation.

Not really my place. Menu is missing and no substitutions. I like very much, and their only offer was garlic potatoes smeared. Steak comes out, shattered in garlic butter. It was my birthday, so I ordered Filet Mignon, and all I got was a fillet mignon crushed in garlic butter on my plate, nothing else. The staff was very friendly and tried to be helpful, but the patronage was a little proletariat. Men sit in dirty clothes and don't take off their hats. Steak was fair, but not worth the price. Definitely not a first-class outfit.

We ate there Thursday Nite and the French onion soup was so salty that one could eat it, the meat lamb was dry the marina sauce was tasteless when they opened a can of tomatoes and throw it off on the pasta, this place was earlier good what the hell happened.... but the waitress was good....

I had never had a bad meal at this restaurant until this past Friday night. I ordered takeout haddock and it was very dry with hard ends. I may need to reconsider getting takeout from this place in the future.
