Hensons Pub - Johnstown

This is a great local bar in Jonestown. The food, service, and atmosphere were all enjoyable. We tried the Italian sub and bone-in wings, both of which were delicious. The bar also features two billiard tables and dartboards for entertainment.

I dropped by for a drink before dinner and ended up coming back for another afterward. The atmosphere was fantastic, the bartenders were friendly, and the drink prices were unbeatable! There was also some live music! I’ll definitely be returning.

Horrible service, lady at bar was rude. She kicked me out of the bar for being under 21 which is against the law. There are no state laws regulating the admittance of underage persons to establishments. I was not drinking, I just got there for a family friend’s going away party and was with family. She was literally “shooing” me away and budding into my conversations yelling at me to leave. She continued to yell at me even after I told her I would go and that I was simply waiting for my fiancé to come back; this way I was not walking out alone near the streets. Very rude and unprofessional of her to yell at a customer and for unrightfully kicking them out. Will not be back.

I usually love this bar and never have any issues. However, I went this past weekend and a bartender that I 've never seen in there before asked for my id, I obviously gave it to her. She then bent my id in half and handed it back to me and said not gonna work babe in such a condescending way. They were pretty busy in there so i 'm assuming she just didn 't want to serve more people. She handed me back my broken ID and now I have to spend my money to get a new one because she decided to ruin mine.

Great place to relax, unwind, and have a great tasting mixed drink along with some great conversation!!!
