Rollin Smoke Bbq - Johnson City

So on 11/19/22. I was looking for something different for dinner and ordered the Hawg Potato based on some recommendations and when I tell you that it is literally three meals worth of food it is exactly that. Absolutely delicious barbecue and the amount of food that you get is astonishing. Phenomenal barbecue place that I cannot recommend enough.

This place is nothing to look at outside or inside, but the food is very good. We all ordered different things and were surprised at how good it was and the servings were HUGE

My wife and i placed an order through Facebook for pickup. I ordered the stuffed grilled cheese with a side of collard greens and baked beans. My wife ordered the stuffed potato with pork and a sweet tea. Strange to come into a BBQ restaurant and be the only one there, besides the one staff member than was behind the cash register. My order was short a drink so the lady poured 2 canned diet cokes into a styrofoam cup, instead of using the fountain dispensers, that was odd. She wasn’t very friendly but wasn’t rude by any means. Anyways, the sweet tea was very sweet and really good! My sandwiche was stuffed with pulled pork and cheese, very nice smoke flavor on the pork. The greens were seasoned, very nice! Beans were ok. My wife’s stuffed baked potato was 15pounds. Literally, family worthy. But it was also great, way more than either of us could eat.

Ordered a Philly Cheese Steak. Was prepared incorrectly, as well as you couldn't taste anything but Garlic. I certainly hope their Bar-B-Que is better than their sandwiches. Absolutely horrible.

The pork was good....the gallon of tea was terrible (soured). The barbecue sauce tasted like, Sweet Baby Ray's (one of my fav) but...Mac n cheese was very very very thick..too thick to eat. I even tried to thin it down and could not. Sorry not impressed.
