Bidrage med feedbackI wasn't feeling pizza, so I decided to get the Rocks burger, cooked medium, with cheddar, onion rings, pickles, bacon BBQ. The burger is made with a blend of sirloin and brisket and was very good. Extra points for the toasted bun! I got it with fries, which were average, but next time, I'll try the homemade chips. You can get any sandwich or pizza made gluten-free. Our waitress, Danielle, was attentive and very friendly. The smile on her face never left! Overall, great experience. UPDATE: Someone in my office ordered lunch from Rocks today and got the Marguerite Pizza and shared with the office. The sauce tasted homemade, had a generous amount of quality mozzarella, and just enough fresh tomatoes and basil leaves. If you're looking for a crispy bottom crust, this isn't it. You can fold the pizza in half when eating it. Some in the office didn't like it because of that, and others loved it. I prefer a crispier crust, but I still enjoyed eating this pizza. It tasted great!
This place is absolut garbage. Three words: greasy, soggy, BURNT. Okay four: inedible
This review is for 8/10/2024. Went with my finance and had a wonderful meal. The server we had was John and he really made us feel at home. He made sure to get the appetizer out while it was still hot and our drinks were never close to empty. The only negative thing to say about the experience was this family who we were seated beside, kept disrupting our meal fussing about plates and the poor service. We asked them several time to please quiept down and they ensued to yell at us. They then yelled at the waiter, the staff was clearly doing their best the restaurant was absolutely packed full of people. Besides the wackadoos we highly recommend the restaurant. I got the jerk pasta which was delicious.
I have never been so disappointed. Went out for a family meal before our oldest ships off to boot camp. Ordered cheese bread for an appetizer for the table of six and zero plates. Ordered a beer and wine that took at least 15 minutes to get if not more. Kids ordered burgers medium and they came out well done. Ordered two pizzas and no plates. Asked for plates and napkins and those didn’t come out until the pizza was gone. Asked the server if this was appropriate and was given nothing but attitude. We ordered another wine and didn’t get that until we stared to complain. Server never came to check on us and see if all was ok. Just so everyone knows this is the second time this has happened to us at the same establishment but decided to give another chance. Manager came out and listened. Gave a very small discount. Now we are beyond done with this restaurant but have food to take home. When the check came did our server asked if we needed take home containers…absolutely not. Had to ask another server which by the was her second day on the job and was quickly given the to go containers. That is how you treat customers. I love to give great reviews and won’t give a bad one unless treated the way we got treated. I will NEVER come back to eat again. As a manager myself attention to detail is huge and this place lacks it. Was told they are short staffed. If that’s the case don’t open so many tables if you can’t handle it.
I've been to Rocks four times now, and ordered four different dishes: Fish tacos, grilled chicken salad, club sandwich, and blackened chicken sandwich. All were delicious; the house-made chips that accompany a number of items were especially good (I'd recommend them over the fries, which are pretty standard). Rocks has a sizable bar with rotating draft beers on a weekly basis, and there are always 3 or so IPAs to sample, along with a cider, the old standbys, and.a few other adventurous labels. The only negative comments I have are: A couple of times it took longer than expected to receive my food, and the grilled chicken salad could have been a little more substantial for a main course salad. All in all, however, it's a relaxing, friendly place to spend an hour with nice folks, cold drinks, and good food.
