Happy Wok - Johnson City

I've been a satisfied customer of Happy Wok for many years. This family-owned restaurant is a true treasure in the Boones Creek area. My selective son adores their food, and we frequently eat there. I've never been disappointed. The portions are generous, the flavors are consistently outstanding, and the woman who runs the front is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I truly love Happy Wok!

As of now, this restaurant only provides takeout—there's no option for dining in. The food is tasty and reasonably priced. I had the sweet and sour chicken, which was served with a thick, sweet red sauce. My husband ordered kung pao chicken, but there was quite a bit of celery in it. He had actually requested beef, but was given chicken instead. The egg rolls were good, and although the egg drop soup appeared small in the pictures, the portion was actually more than sufficient.

Absolutely fantastic! This has become my family's new favorite place for Asian cuisine. The chicken is extremely fresh and tender, and the restaurant is impressively clean and inviting. From now on, I choose Happy Wok over Empire Buffet!
