Piza E Vino - Johannesburg

Nice easy family friendly pizzeria, can’t go wrong with Piza e Vino. Truth be told I have never tried anything else on the menu as we always have the Pizza options if the kids request it then it’s a win. Lovely service , very attentive and prompt. Sitting area was clean. Bathrooms were just okay no sparkles , tissue bin overflowing with enough paper. I love the decor , nice earthy grounded dark colours. As always a lovely experience.

Food is always great here. They do really fantastic wood oven pizzas. The hot chocolate is also done nicely here as you can control the chocolatey goodness. I found at night that the service is better than during the day, but in general the place is always busy. Often the waiter is occupied with other customers. The atmosphere is fun and enjoyable great for conversation. We always have a blast when we go here. Porky the pig and Americana are two of my personal favourites. I love the vegetarian options too. Just note that the price is higher than many pizza places. So budget accordingly.

Wonderful wonderful food and incredible service along with it. Our waiter took care of our table of 9 and was so fun and entertaining. We had everything from the local beer, to wine, pizza, gnocchi pasta, and fries too.

In these times of ever-increasing petrol prices, VAT hikes and falling income; it's nice knowing there's still a restauranteur who cares for our pockets. Had the pleasure of being here twice in one day. That is, lunch and again for dinner. And on both sit downs, the bill did not come to more than R250 (10% tip included). For lunch we went for the special that costs R49. I went for the pesto pasta with extra chicken and washed it down with a gorgeous glass of Chenin Blanc (R40). Was seriously impressed with the portion sizes at such a reasonable price. Well worth every cent. Went again for a dinner date later that night and ordered the dinner-for-2 special that runs on Monday and Tuesdays. You may choose any pasta or pizza and it comes with a glass of house wine. The pizza was delicious. Crust was just the right kind of crispy so was really happy with that. All this for R189!!! The vibe is slightly more chilled with the dinner service and staff don't seem as flustered. Overall, a great place to eat at.

I really enjoyed myself here. The atmosphere was cool, calm and collected. The waiter was relaxed, not over bearing yet present when we needed him. The music was relaxing yet not boring. Sanitizing of hands was adhered to. The food didn't take long to arrive. Their pastas and pizzas are delicious, looking forward to another visit.
