Adega Fordsburg - Johannesburg

The food at this restaurant is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying the stuffed calamari, prawn pasta, and chicken dishes. The decadent chocolate dessert is rich and scrumptious - definitely best shared with someone else. The drinks, especially the non-alcoholic ones, are exciting but a bit too sweet for my taste. The service was excellent, and we particularly enjoyed the service from a waiter named McCloud.

The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere and the food is delicious. You will not be disappointed. The flavors are excellent and I would definitely come back. I even considered eating here every day while I was in Johannesburg.

Our family all has our go-to dishes at Adega. I always go for the prawns, my husband loves the LM Chicken, our daughter chooses the pasta, and our son insists on the garlic bread and halloumi cheese. To make everyone happy, we order one of each. The variety of creative mocktails, unique milkshakes, and decadent desserts add to the delicious food, attentive service, and great ambiance that make Adega a favorite spot for us.

Tasty food, big portions and generous helpings of cream in their sauces make this spot one to return to. I really enjoy the prawn dishes and they make excellent fries. Their starter menu is also very good, love the prawn rissoles and stuffed calamari

Great choice for a lazy evening dinner, lots of options to keep your conversations going. The steak and the calamari were heavenly. Great service, good ambience, the rain added some extra points.
