Bidrage med feedbackWonderful experience to dine on the terrace of Mehrangarh Fort. The night time views of the city from basically the highest point in the heart of Jodhpur, are incredible and mesmerizing. Entry there is only by reservation and they typically do not accept walk in due to their limited seating. It is advisable to preferably book a day in advance but they can accommodate same day bookings too if seating is available. They only have a dinner service which starts form 7pm onwards. The service is good and the wait staff are very friendly. The food is good, though not amazing but the ambience more then makes up for it. The Chakki Ro Saag was melt in your mouth and a must try. Overall definitely worth a visit if you're in the city and looking for a different experience.
Options are less, but whatever we had it was of a good quality and also the price was not so high, considering that the restaurant in the fort. The invoice was Rs400 for 2 drinks. Payment can also be made via the card.

Merhan Café is situated inside the Mehrangarh fortress, offering snacks for visitors to enjoy before or after exploring the museum or the explanade. It is the perfect spot for a relaxing break. While the European palate may not find traditional food options, such as pasta dishes, there are still cookies and lassi available to satisfy cravings. Each table is adorned with a jar of tomato sauce, adding to the unique atmosphere. The decor is captivating, with full-body portraits and busts of Jodhpur, providing a glimpse into the area's rich history. The café is well-ventilated, shaded, and offers a relaxing environment for visitors to unwind.
Located within the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur city, there is a quaint cafe where you can grab a soda, coffee, or a light meal while exploring. The cafe captures your attention with its walls adorned with paintings of the various kings and maharajas who once roamed the fortress. Interestingly, the most expensive item on the menu is bottled water priced at 125 rupees. The bathrooms are well-maintained and the service is efficient.
