It is required that patrons finish everything on their plate or bowl, and then add a little water to it and drink from it as a sign of respect. This is a vital custom at the restaurant. Upon my visit, children welcomed me at the entrance and served me food, chatting with me while I dined. They even made origami flowers for me, which was a very sweet gesture. I highly recommend visiting this place for an authentic Chinese dining experience. Do keep in mind that they primarily speak Chinese, and some may only know the local dialect, so be prepared for potential communication barriers.
