Griot Cafe - Jersey City

The Gri-Oat Latte brings me so much joy! I've tried it twice now, and it's just perfect every time! On my last visit, I had the breakfast griot sandwich served on fried plantains, and it was fantastic. Today, I opted for the signature Griot Sandwich with chicken, and I can't recommend it enough—10/10! I absolutely love pikliz; it adds a nice kick if you prefer it spicy, but not so much that it masks the flavor. Thank you for such a wonderful meal!

The French toast and eggs with bacon were just okay and needed to be heated in the oven. The picture of the spicy chicken sausage is misleading; it shows two sausages, but you only receive one. Additionally, the monkey bread is not made in-house; it's sourced from a bakery, and the one I received was quite stale.

The pancakes, eggs, and bacon I had here were the best I've had in years! The flavors and seasonings were simply delicious, and I can't wait to order from this place again!
