Bidrage med feedbackVentured over to Newport one Sunday for a movie at the mall. BF and I were looking for a lunch spot before the movie, and we didn’t want any mall food court food. Besides, we’re doing a low carb diet so we were trying to be good (haha). That’s when we remembered there was a B Good nearby so decided to go with that. I had the Spicy Avocado Lime bowl (kale, sauteed veggies, avocado, black bean corn salsa, tomato, queso fresco, lime, cilantro, chipotle puree, red pepper vinaigrette) and you get your choice of quinoa or super grains (peas, lentils, and something else). I went with the quinoa because I didn’t like anything from the super grain concoction. Everything was great and very flavorful. My only gripe was that some of the quinoa were stuck together in balls, but not a big deal. I especially liked the red pepper vinaigrette. He ordered the Southwest Chicken (arcadian greens, avocado, toasted corn, tomatoes, black bean corn salsa, chipotle puree, balsamic vinaigrette), which basically tasted the same as mine but in salad form. We were both stuffed afterwards. We had also ordered the eggplant meatballs, which I don’t think had any meat in them but they tasted amazing. It had the same texture as a regular meatball, and was perfectly spiced. Next time, I think I’ll try one of their burgers.
Really good burger and fries. My Daughter had the qinuoa salad bowl and she loved it. The only reason I knocked them one star was the fact that I order a burger with jalapeño slaw and it was left off. Otherwise the burger had really good flavor and the whole wheat bun was toasted and very delicious. The fries well large cut and fried crispy. Loved them. Their ketchup tasted house made and was kinda rustic and it was great. I'd buy that ketchup straight up. The folks working here we're very friendly, efficient and progressional. Very enjoyable.
I work across the street and have only tried their salad bowl once. I'm not a fan of Chipotle, so I decided to give this place a shot. I was pleasantly surprised by the salad bowl; it was quite large and satisfying, and the price was very reasonable. The vegetables were fresh, and I look forward to returning soon!
My colleagues and I visit this restaurant at least two or three times a week for lunch. My first experience there was fueled by a midday craving for avocado toast. Although it’s a side item and consists of just one slice, it was delicious! I also ordered a side of roasted Brussels sprouts, which were quite tasty, although they were slightly undercooked. For lunch, I typically have the Spicy Avocado Lime bowl, which is absolutely delicious, though I always opt for spinach instead of kale. I’ve tried their Veggie West Side burger and the Zucchini Spaghetti with Eggplant Meatballs, both of which I really enjoyed. One item I absolutely love is their Power Elvis Acai Bowl. It’s just $5.99 and tastes amazing! They serve breakfast until 11 AM, and if I have it as a late breakfast, I don’t feel hungry until around 4 PM. Overall, it’s a lovely place with a wide variety of menu options.
I really enjoy this restaurant! The food is simple and healthy. I typically order either the chicken sandwich or the Cobb salad. They also offer plenty of coupons in-store and on their app, which is a great bonus!
