The Barrel Head - Jerome

I hadn't visited this restaurant in years, and my son and I decided to stop by for lunch on Saturday, December 3rd. We arrived at noon, an hour after they had opened, but there were no customers or employees in sight. We heard people in the back chatting and laughing, but despite waiting for almost 5 minutes, no one came out to assist us. I decided to leave with my son, and as we were walking out, a girl peeked out the side door, smiled at us, but did not say a word. It was quite disappointing to see the lack of service at a place that used to be so great. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be returning, as it seems like they are struggling with their customer service. It's a shame, considering this restaurant is a staple in Springfield.

As we walked out, a girllooked out the side door of the building, saw us, and smiled. Did not say 1 word at all! I laughed and said that 'sridiculous. . Again she said nothing, just smiled and shut the door. Pitty because this place used to be great. Can 't even getemployees to do what they are hired for. Literally wasn 't 1 customer in the place. I guess I could see why. Will not be back.Sucks because this place is a springfield staple.

We decided to try the bacon and cheddar stuffed burger with extra bacon and cheddar on top. In all honesty, I have never had a more delicious burger. It was cooked perfectly and the flavor was absolutely incredible.

We tried another restaurant tonight and it was an hour wait, so we found this gem on Google reviews. We?re so glad we did! Our family of 5 (3 kids under 13) all enjoyed this place and the staff was super friendly. Clean bathrooms, great service, and thefood was amazing! Seriously, everyone really enjoyed what they got and we were all trying each other?s orders. Would highlyrecommend!!
