Todai - Jermantown

I've been to the restaurant two times and loved it! The food is delicious, there is something for everybody- even if you are on diet you will find lots of food there. Would definitely recommend it to my friends!

Avoid Todai at Virginia. Price was okay (around $25 per person at night) but it 's really not an all-you-can-eat buffet. For example, you can only get two oysters at a time and the worst is you have to ring a bell for a lady to come out and give you the oyster. I was like???? This is a buffet good lord!!! Sashimi lady was worse. She gives you 4 slices of sashimi each time (there were only 4 to pick from) and if you want all 4 type of sashimi, then you only get 2 slices. I think they really want their customers to eat fried rice and fried noodles. In that case, I could have gone to Panda Express!! Worst of all, there was a cockroach on my table. Will I go back and eat again? Definitely not!

This is by far the best sushi restaurant/buffet in all of Northern Virginia. The portions are large and the selection is vast. Considering it's a buffet, you would expect the sizes of sushi to be small but they are not. The food is delicious, the service is great, and the atmosphere feels homely.
