Dolce Vita Italian Restaurant Wine Bar

The special, short rib lasagna with béchamel was delicious and my husband's entree, fettuccini bolognese also very good. I enjoyed the limoncello martini! The service was great. Downside was the noise level in the place made it difficult to have a conversation.Once the large group seated in the middle of the restaurant left, it was much quieter and nice in terms of noise level and ability to converse. Unfortunately they were there for most of the time we were eating dinner and then stood for a long time chatting before deciding to depart. The place is small and since there were just 2 of us, we were seated at a two-person table in the back right next to two more two-person tables that were empty at first but of course filled up before the end of our meal. The spacing is a little too close to feel comfortable. 1 four-person and 1 two-person would be more acceptable. Then also you wouldn't be sitting on the crack in the middle of the two benches when seated at the middle table like I was at first before asking to move to one of the end tables. We were able to overlook the seating and noise issues for the most part and enjoy the good food and service. The value for the money was good! Although not one of our top picks, we've been coming here occasionally for over 30 years and we'll be back.

They try to seat us right next to the restrooms but I I immediately asked for a differ Table, it turns out everybody is put in that table because no one will sit there ...it was hilarious to see everybody asking to be changed somewhere else. Other than that food was ok pizza was good

Sorry for the long review but it's a story of good customer service Our party of four ordered a bottle of wine and a margarita pizza to share as an appetizer. After the wine arrived we ordered the entrees. Our meals were delivered and were all exceptional: hot and delicious very well prepared and presented. Unfortunately the appetizer pizza never arrived. Not a big deal as we were all stuffed from the main courses. When the check came the pizza was shown on it so I asked the server to remove it since it wasn't delivered. No problem, the check was corrected quickly and we were all set to go when the manager (I think) stopped us and handed me a fresh hot pizza, boxed and ready to go. Long story short, they comped us a pizza for the very minor inconvenience. So a great dinner and also a lunch pizza for the next day. Very much appreciated!

Nice lunch. They appear to be doing an all day Happy Hour, so got 20% off my excellent glass(es) of Barbera. Also scored the Lunch Special on chicken $17 including a salad.Food was excellent. Very tasty. Portion was a tad anemic, so don’t expect the dinner portion for the lunch special price. Marsala sauce and broccolini were well executed. Enjoyed the focaccia.Attentive and professional service.Cute place with lots of murals. About 25 tables inside; more on the patio.

Our visit to Dolce Vita yesterday was really good. We had lasagna, shrimp scampi, and a margherita pizza and all were very good. The shrimp in the scampi were cooked perfectly and the lasagna was nice and rich. I wish the system allowed me to give it 4.5 stars because that would be a much more accurate rating. We will definitely be back!
