Don Pepe - Jerez de la Frontera

La magnífica comida. El servicio, mejor. Hay una variedad de platos de mar y montaña, así como una buena cantidad de vinos de la zona. Como nota negativa, vi que servían langosta femenina. Se sabe que la langosta femenina debe permanecer en el mar y no pescar. Normalmente lo que se sirve son machos para evitar que esta especie desaparezca de nuestros mares. Eso fue un punto negativo sin duda...

Mis padres siempre fueron por Babity, un lugar que me trae recuerdos, la buena comida. La pierna de cordero de horno que amo.

Spacious restaurant for larger groups with good service. gambas and solomillo are fantastic, standard for medium is probably a little rarer than expected, had a misunderstanding with a steak, personal perfectly reacted and brought a new steak on a sizzling plate

The place looked beautiful at the arrival. I was uncomfortable to see that live animals are kept on ice, but this is probably our culture so good. the manager/owner took us to our table and took our job and I was pleasantly surprised at his level of English, we had... a reasonable conversation and he was also very jovial with us, that I liked. the place seemed really nice, so I ordered steak, medium well done. When our food arrived, a friend only got a part of his meal. my steak was very rare, so I asked for it to be cooked more to medium. when my steak came back, it was more like medium-sized and my friend was waiting for the rest of his meal. I sent my steak to be cooked more and my friend asked for the rest of his meal. By now, the other friends were good at their meal times. I waited for my steak for over 20 minutes to return, half expected the manager to come by, but nothing. I had to ask for my steak, and when it came back, it was cut into customs thick slices and cooked much more than well done, it was dry and hard, everyone else had almost finished their food, so I didn't want to sit there and eat alone, especially as it was terrible now. I was quite upset by all the experience sitting there without eating feeling like I had spoiled everyone at night. still the manager did not come by, so I went to him and suddenly he did not speak English at all! that was the worst culinary experience I had so far and if the manager had any management skills, he would at least have said sadly, but instead he was arrogant and released. he knew how to take the order in English, but obviously not how to apologize. I bet he can read my teeth.

The food was excellent and the staff beautiful. everything was very well cooked and very well tasted. only one problem was that she did not care very well for young children.
