The Village Ice Cream Factory

Wow! Absolutely love everything about The Village Ice Cream Factory! Had the MOST delicious peppermint bark ice cream I've ever had. If you're in the neighborhood, make sure to check it out!

Fantastic ice cream shop in Multnomah village. Everyone in my family can find something, even with our varied allergies (dairy, gluten, strawberry, kiwi, etc) and the staff are always kind and engaging with my sometimes shy, sometimes super chatty kids. Their icecream pies are a big hit too.

Delicious ice cream. Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge and Lavender Honey are my favorite!

DO NOT GO HERE. I felt awful for around 30 minutes after consuming the dairy ice cream (cookie dough), despite not having a lactose intolerance. After the ice cream, I skipped meals the rest of the night since I was constantly throwing up and had to stay awake for a long time. I became ill with food poisoning. They assert that the homemade ice cream they produce causes numerous salmonella outbreaks every year. Without proper care and preparation, the ice cream is extremely likely to have gone bad, which is how I got ill.

Friendly staff, there was only one person working at the time so the line was getting long, but nothing they couldn't handle. Our Ice Cream Milkshake were delicious! Lots of seating area, outdoor dog friendly, washing station, and many disposable cans to throw away your waste (not sure why that's important but it's something I noticed). We can't wait to stop by again!
