A must stop for brunch while in Portland. One of my favourite places to go when I'm in town. First time having fried chicken and gravy and I don't know what took me so long in life to try it.
Cody walked us to our table. What a sweet young man. Great first impression. There’s a hopping bar on the other side of the hostess area. Mother’s moved from a smaller area, where people were waiting outside the door, to a larger place a few years back. Across the street diagonally from Voodoo donuts. It’s connected to the Embassy Suites hotel. There are articles screaming accolades of Chef Lisa and her successes.
Delicious. just delicious. sometimes, the reviews and experience don't match up. This one did. we did french toast, cinamon roll, half salmon hash, half biscuits, mimosa, hot chocolate. amazing all. we will be back
It was really busy this am. It's sunday. We get it for sure. We didn't wait long at all. Party of 5. Very clean and super cute, cozy environment. Male server while we were ordering drinks left our table 3 seperate times so we werent able to place all of our orders. We had to take our 1 ordered food item to go at that point as we had a train to catch. Specifically came to portland to visit this establishment and stayed in the ajoining hotel. never have we ever been treated so crass by a server. … – show
