Ixtapa Mexican Portland

My husband and I have been here twice and we both agree it's the best Mexican restaurant that we have tried in the area. They are super friendly and attentive, and the food is really good and reasonably priced. Their salsa is House made and it is very good. The staff are amazing, this restaurant goes above and beyond! My S/O is fluent in Spanish and I am not, and they helped translate and made both of us feel welcome. This is a true authentic Mexican restaurant, 100% recommend. El personal es increíble, ¡este restaurante va más allá! Overpriced, feels like I’m being robbed! $27 for chips, queso, and salsa!? Post pandemic prices are absurd for what you get and the quality of their food has dramatically declined over the past year.
