Rita's Italian Ice - Jenkintown

The restaurant at Huntingdon Pike and Church Road tends to be quite busy, but I happened to pass by and noticed there wasn't a line, so I decided to stop in. The chocolate custard I tried was delicious, although I found it to be a bit pricey. I don't visit Rita's as often as I used to because of their high prices, which is unfortunate since my wife and I really enjoy water ice. The location itself is very pleasant and always well-maintained. Service was for takeout, and I had a nice experience overall.

The atmosphere, although I took out, seemed inviting and vibrant, contributing to an overall excellent experience. I'm not sure if it's because it's the end of the season, but the water ice has been consistently gritty with ice chunks. Everything else, however, is wonderful!
