Authentic - Jasper

NEWLY REBRANDED!! Great little gastropub located in the Crimson hotel. Mountain views and quality food. Highly recommend ordering the Clearly Jasper cocktail as well as the Bowden Farm Chicken meal. The servers were very enthusiastic and attentive. Worth the visit!

As a local, here 's my spin... Came in February to try out the Authentic Burger , they had a special going on for Aussie Day, was not disappointed, the burger was quite tasty, service was okay, it was a slow night with the cold snap.

Mixed bag. Came here for breakfast and went for the buffet. I liked the scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes and fresh fruit. Sausages and potatoes were too dry and shriveled. Probably wouldn't do the buffet again though. Wife had the eggs benedict which she enjoyed. Coffee here was good too. The decor is modern and is not very busy. The restaurant is in the same building as a hotel.

The burgers were tasty. The restaurant had a nice modern and cozy atmosphere. It was not busy when we were there and service was prompt.

The look of place was really nice, but the food was really really bad. My partner and I paid 117 dollars for this package through a festival. Honestly, the good thing my boyfriend and I got from this experience was the laughs of how bad it was. We had a set menu with a choice of a main and pairing cocktails. Which if someone was to hear that then we are expecting something breathtaking and one of kind. We just couldn't imagine it getting worse and then by dessert it did! Pro tip for a fine dining experience don't leave it in the plastic container, my guy. At least put it in a proper dish
