Qdoba Mexican Eats - Janesville

The service was quite slow and lacked enthusiasm. The manager on duty came out of the office as if she had just woken up from a nap, still wearing her personal wireless earbuds in the kitchen. Throughout the entire visit, no one attended to cleaning. The restaurant was unkempt, with overflowing garbage and the food prep area being messy, filled with spilled food, no food labels, and numerous empty containers. Surprisingly, the food itself tasted fine.

To add to my discomfort, I noticed they were interviewing potential employees right in front of me while I waited. It felt awkward, as though I was intruding by simply trying to give them my business. I believe interviews should be conducted in a private space, especially in such a small restaurant where patrons can hear everything. Moreover, the prices aren't exactly affordable. I recommend saving your money and opting for Taco Bell instead.

This is my second experience with issues at this Qdoba location. The first time, I found raw chicken in my burrito bowl. After some time off, I decided to give it another shot, but after today’s visit, I think I'll be choosing a different location. I ordered takeout, and when I picked it up, it was a complete disaster. It seemed like the person handling takeout orders was unhappy and just carelessly packed everything. This is simply unacceptable. Someone needs to be held accountable. The nachos were a total mess, and the tacos looked like they had been tossed into the container without care. They didn’t seem warmed up at all and were in pieces. Overall, today was a complete waste of money, as the quality was clearly lacking.

Every table in the restaurant was dirty, and we were the only diners there. It really turned us off, so we decided to take our food to go. We can only hope that the cleanliness behind the counter is better.

This review is based on several visits over the course of a few months. On one occasion, there was a strong sewage smell and a mess outside the restrooms due to a toilet malfunction. The tables were not well-maintained, and containers for straws and napkins were frequently empty. Today, the drink dispenser sprayed soda everywhere because it was missing parts, and this has been an ongoing problem. I've decided to give up on this place. While the staff is friendly, that alone isn't enough to make me return.
