The food and service were outstanding. I had the opportunity to chat with the owner, who is very knowledgeable about the area. It's rare to meet an owner who takes the time to engage with customers for as long as they want. Their cakes and cinnamon rolls are absolutely to die for. I will definitely be back to sample more items from the menu. Keep in mind that this is a truck stop diner, so you'll discover a variety of delicious treats. If you're hungry and seeking high-quality food at a reasonable price, along with excellent service, I highly recommend checking out this gem. Two thumbs up!

Restaurant Essen was great and also the service. The staff of the gas station were very friendly, they treat us very well, bathrooms are clean and also the showers.

This is an old-school truck stop with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff is incredibly accommodating and helpful. The food is excellent and reasonably priced! I highly recommend this place and make a point to stop by every time I pass through!

First time at the cafe and my family and I were impressed. All of the staff were friendly. they seated us and saw we had kids so immediately got crayons and coloring sheets. They brought us water right away and the food was excellent and the service was better. We will be back!
