Away Cafe - Jamaica

One of the limited dining options at JFK Terminal Four, and thankfully, they offered a delicious veggie burger. The atmosphere was comfortable, and the service was friendly.

I had two beers at this beautiful and charming place. The waiter was very well-trained and polite. The only downside might be the prices, but hey, it is an airport!

The dining experience at the airport was decent. It was a bit confusing figuring out how to place our orders and where to sit. Eventually, we noticed that other patrons were shouting their orders to the bartender who was taking them. The bartender was competent and friendly enough, although it would have been nicer if he had acknowledged us when we arrived or when we took our seats. Once he did come over, however, everything went smoothly from there.

I didn't expect to enjoy a random restaurant at the airport so much. The food was fresh and AMAZING – my first exposure to “outputs” and “colcannon” life ageing. Customer service was very friendly and fast. Honestly, it was one of my favorite places to eat in NY! My husband felt the same and he ordered the double cheeseburger.

Found this airport pub/restaurant near our terminal, and it was a great way to spend an hour of free time before boarding our flight. The food was good, and the staff was very helpful, opening up a new section of the restaurant to accommodate my family and I. Don't come here if you want the 2-minute McDonalds experience, but otherwise this is a great place to hang out when you have some time to kill and are feeling hungry.
