The Haven - Jamaica Plain

I love this new site for The Haven. It is beautiful, warm and welcoming. The food was delicious (as it was always).

The restaurant is dark and cozy. Our server was very good. The food and the drinks were meh. The portions were surprisingly smaller, then I expected and my Martini was in a very undersized glass.

I really enjoyed my time here. The food was good, but not great. My great Equibble was that I ordered the salmon that was quite delicious and it was coming with Brocollini what it did. But it was fried. I guess that was kind of sweet, but I had no warning on the menu that it should be deep fried, and I chose the dish because I suspect it would be a healthy choice.

The food was delicious. The atmosphere was very welcoming. Great lighting, comfortable seating. Very nice service. We look forward to returning!

We enjoyed the new location and were satisfied with all aspects of the location except the temperature of the dining room.
