Bidrage med feedbackI had a really cool night at this restaurant yesterday. It was our third visit, and every time we're around, we'll make the detour to this hidden pearl. The wife of the house is one and all hospitality, smooth service, at the same time with a smile. The man of the house is cook and earned his stripes. That's what you notice about the dishes: Beautiful and honest kitchen, never disappoints. There's no foam or dry experiments here, but eccentric French kitchen, everything with perfect cuisson, with a price you rarely see. If you're staying at this restaurant, you're supposed to be misleading.
We had three girlfriends and had two rooms reserved. I had asked for a restaurant or fried on a bike disposal. She wrote through message that there was a fried fry. I also asked for a safe place to steal our bikes. She said this was there, but once on the scene, this turned out not to be there. They were on the back of the hotel, visible from the street. Owners went to keep an eye out, she said, which is obviously impossible to do this goose the night. The hostess received us in French, although she knew we were humbled by communication through booking. She said she doesn't know if the fried's open, because she'd never gone to the fries. That's a little annoying, and somewhere you're expecting her to know if she's suggesting this to us because you're counting on it, but so far. She explained what rooms we could take after that. There are three rooms at the hotel. Once upstairs, it was confusing because there were no numbers in the rooms, so we tried the keys and were in the wrong room with our luggage still in the hands, so nothing unloaded yet. The hotel boss comes up and says, "It's still, in French, in an arrogant way, that we were wrong, and that she said this anyway." We're scared of this reaction. We apologized and said that we didn't hear it properly because we were exhausted, and we did a bike-packing trip and had been fixing the whole day when she was down, and we told each other that this was a very unbearable reaction, and they were inappropriate. Suddenly, she comes up, and she's calling us the skin full of the West Flames dialect. She said she wasn't a sailor, and she's been at work for 1.5 months. I got the wifi code on a little paper. I'm sorry I lost this. We were gonna ask her this again. The answer was that it was her last note and that she still needs to copy it. So no wifi for us. While she could still write the code on a paper. All three, all fervent travelers, have never seen this before. Too bad. Ma'am was overworked, but that's why she doesn't have to react to us. environment was top, breakfast, too, the rooms were a little dark, but they certainly did.
Reserved a month in advance. They're sending an e-mail saying there's two more rooms for us every time we've got two people out. We confirm the reservation. Called today to check. Now they know nothing... And besides, they say it's our fault and hang up! Service: One.
Very disappointed with service and especially food. the entrance to the salmon could have gone straight out of a delheiz and the rest of the dishes would have been correct if they had cost 12€ and not 30: they were just ok, without more. paying so expensive for dishes that don't stand out in anything is really disappointing. We also asked basic questions to the person who served us (whose wine she advised, what was the soup served) and she was unable to answer. Anyway, we're not close to getting back to it.
The bosses are charming and they have humour. The dishes were succulent, tasteful and well served. the wine menu offers an excellent choice. service: 5 location: 5
