Very friendly owner. Great food. Had the Stroganoff and was delicious. Good Wine. Not too expensive. Finished with round of schnapps which was spectacular! Home made!! Nice atmosphere. Highly recommended restaurant in Rauris.

In this restaurant quantity came with quality. Portions were very big and tasty. I've had one of the best schnitzels and spare ribs in my life. The waiter was friendly and funny. I Really recommend this restaurant.

Visited twice in a week's holiday. The first time I had an excellent steak, the second time I had the ribs which were superb. Small, friendly restaurant, vital to book ahead, as it is very popular and excellent value for money. It has a great atmosphere, warm and friendly, with a jovial German host (Willy) and his wife Birgit who does the cooking. Can't recommend highly enough, hope to return some day!

We have dined at Vennen's on several ocassions and have always found it to be an enjoyable experience. The food is very good, excellent steaks, and the host is attentive and obliging.
