Hartley Ranch - Jaco

We have eaten three times. first their martinis are fantastic! I am picky and the crystal glass was a beautiful surprise, but the quality of the martini was exceptional. the Caesar salad is excellent. my man and I are seniors and tend to eat something less than we used to, so we have ordered a meal between us. Not to save money, but to fulfill our needs (we spend the inheritance of our children full of our server was very tailored to our needs. the owner dwight came to our table to ask how our evening was. he was beautiful and sat and chatting with us for one. dwight is from Texas, which is why a yellow rose has been delivered to every table. beautiful touch!

I went to this steakhouse last night and every single thing was amazing. The steak was the best that I have ever had and that is saying a lot because I have had tons and tons of steaks all over the world. The sangria was also the best that I have ever had anywhere.The staff are amazing and it is a very nice atmosphere. When you feel like being spoiled this would be the place to go. I really can’t believe how great the steak was !!!!! They also have surprisingly good prices as well. So glad I stumbled upon it.

Wow, what a fantastic evening! The food was amazing with huge portions - be sure to come hungry. There is something for everyone, from finger foods and tacos to high-end steaks. The tacos and all the dishes at our table were really good. The service was very attentive, with drinks never empty and plates never sitting for too long. We were served promptly and wanted for nothing. The owner even came to our table to give the ladies a rose - a nice touch. There was an amazing saxophone player all night and new dishes that had recently been added to the menu, along with old favorites that got us up and dancing. The atmosphere was great, I highly recommend visiting this place!

The food at this restaurant is delicious, but the prices are too high. A cocktail costs $12, which is expensive compared to other places in San Jose. They even charge $3 for a small bottle of water. It's clear they are trying to make a profit. I was most annoyed by the extra charge for more tortillas, as I only received two with my meal. How can anyone eat fajitas with just two tortillas? When I asked for more, they brought me two extra pieces and charged an additional $2. You can buy a whole pack of tortillas for less than $1 with 20 inside, so it's clear they are overcharging. Overall, the fajitas were good, but not worth the $18 price tag. The chicken wings were large, but I was surprised they were deep-fried instead of grilled as expected in a grill restaurant. This was not mentioned on the menu. Overall, the food was good, but it's hard to justify paying $12 for a cocktail or $18 for fajitas at this place.

The atmosphere at this restaurant is great and the staff is excellent. The steak was well-seasoned and cooked perfectly. However, it was extremely expensive and the ribeye cut turned out to be a New York strip cut, and the meat was overly fatty. I was disappointed because I was really looking forward to a large steak based on the reviews I had read. It's possible that I visited during a slow season and they didn't restock their inventory with quality products, or I just got a bad cut of steak. Additionally, the broth that was served to me was lukewarm instead of being hot. Overall, it was a regrettable dining experience.
