Whispers Oysters Crabhouse

The food quality is not great, with limited attention to detail. There were not enough napkins on the table. I ordered snow crab legs, corn, shrimp, and carrots. I would recommend going to Juicy Crab or another restaurant for better seafood options. The atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant.

I had a confirmed reservation for 7pm on 1/28/22, but when I arrived at the restaurant, they claimed they didn't have it. I was then asked to sit at table 19. Later, one of the workers told my friend and I to move to a different table that had been reserved for two people at 7pm. By 8 o'clock, we still hadn't been served and it seemed like it would be our first and last visit to this restaurant.

This restaurant is the perfect spot for drinks and great music, but the food service needs improvement. Guests may want to grab a bite somewhere else before coming here, as for some reason they are not allowed to order food upon arrival. Once the food finally arrived, it was good, but the overall service was chaotic. I asked a woman at the bar for a drink, but she said they were not serving drinks and walked away. I was unable to find anyone else to assist me.

My food took a long time to get to the table, and the mais on the cob was cold in the middle, I just got a small kartoffel for $3. I never have the water I ordered. the oysters were super small. I wish my experience would be better. pay and type before and not the service they deserve is not good business.

I'll give it 2 stars for convenient downtown location and excellent DJ/music! But OMG they have the worst service of any establishment I have been to in Jacksonville. The barmaids appear to have a SERIOUS attitude for no apparent reason (especially with other women). They don't assign/send waiters to tables, not even reserved tables, to take food or drink orders.....They behave as if you are bothering them by approaching the bar. It should never take 30-45 minutes to get one drink. This could be an excellent lounge if they would only hire and/or train their staff much much better.
