The Hook Catfish - Jacksonville

I ordered a fish dinner and crawfish. The meal was enjoyable, but the crawfish seemed to be slightly overcooked.

So far we have tried the fried catfish plate. Fried shrimp and the New Orleans shrimp. We like the fried catfish the best so far, but all are pretty good. The catfish is fried to perfection. Nothing greasy. Nothing overcooked. We love the pickled tomatoes appetizer. The atmosphere is VERY basic. The French fries are delicious. You can get a baked potato or pinto beans. We've had lunch here 3 times. It is our goto stop for fried catfish.

Great catfish, good fried food. Service is not spectacular, but always good fried food. Mother had the grilled fish once but it was too salty.

Crawfish egg rolls! Crunchy exterior and yummy moist filling. Dip one in some bang bang sauce and fall in love! Great crispy catfish and hush puppies, authentic pinto beans, and tangy pickled tomatoes. Cole slaw was good but not great. Server was friendly and attentive
