Wasn’t able to try any food. Walked in at 7:28 pm to the employees frantically cleaning, was waiting for 5 minutes for the employee to stop cleaning and take my order, when I cook in the back told me to “go on, get! We’re closed what are you still standing there for” i looked at him as he had a smirk on his face and walked out, horrible way to speak to customers. You never know what kind of day someone is having joking or not! Will not be back to this location.

Food is amazing, fresh, well seasoned and the portions are huge! Everything is fresh and hot. The restaurant is clean. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive. The special today was liver n onions, with yellow rice and gravy. I also got mac and cheese and yams and cornbread. $12) I can't say enough nice things about this place.

Order baked chicken, yams and broccoli. When we first walked up the employees were talking amongst themselves as my husband and I stood awkwardly waiting to be greeted for about 5 minutes. Baked chicken was cold and yams were way to sweet. The establishment looks ran down and not taking care of.

This place is awesome! i didnt even know such a place existed before.the real estate is perfect and just big enough for a Sunday rush. the lines out the door on a Sunday are a testament to how good this place is. i kid you not, people are BUSED in to eat at this place.that said, i do have my favorites and preferences: Oxtail a MUST (my favorite porkchop second best fried chicken is ok, but i'm biased to Publix fried chicken ; collard greens are ok, but a bit sweet for my taste (i like em bitter i prefer the green beans baked beans are awesome corn bread is great my kids and wife love the Mac n Cheesereally awesome environment for kids and families. On Sunday's they play awesome worship and praise songs. we love it here!!the only improvement i would suggest is to serve the ribs more often instead of just a special (i think it's served on Thursdays or Fridays . because we work, it's difficult to get in on the weekday.

This place is serving good oldfashioned southern food priced right!
