Open Sushi - Jacksonville

I heard good things about this place but ended up a little disappointed with the presentation of the sushi in particular their signature role. Sushi is definitely fresh and rice cooked to the best texture, but its presentation was lacking, which is also what makes a sushi a great sushi. Roll seemed a little disarranged or just too fast to put together, not sure.Lemon gras sake the best!

My go to sushi spot. Their shrimp sauce and ginger dressing are the best. Very reasonable prices. Great service … especially the owner, Josh who is very friendly and thoughtful! My favorite sushi place!!Food: 5/5

I ordered the lunch special consisting of 3 rolls with miso soup for 13.95.The fish was extremely fresh and even the basic rolls had a uniqueness to them. The tempura flakes in the spicy roll was tasty and the Oyako Maki roll is my new favorite. The decor inside is dark and elegant. Very clean and professional looking.Food: 5/5

Went there for lunch, for the first time, during my lunch hour and there was only 2 people there and they had already been served. I was there with 2 other coworkers and we placed our order within 5 mins of sitting down. After being there for 45 mins we still didn’t have our food and had to leave however there were 2 sets of couples that came in after us but somehow received both of their meals before us. When I asked the person at the register what happened he got defensive. We weren’t able to check our food until we got back to work and were very disappointed in the quality of food that we received. The rice was mushy with a funny smell and it did not look like hibachi to say the least. Needless to say we will not be returning or recommending them to other coworkers.

Horrible. Ordered through grub hub. Ordered two orders of salmon sashimi. I got two very small pieces. Other sushi restaurants give you at least four pieces for the price I was charged. Two tiny packets of soy sauce in the order. Really? I need more than that. Do better.
