La Nopalera Mexican - Jacksonville

First visit to this location and had great service in a comfortable atmosphere! Large portions of typical Mexican dishes. Fish tacos were fish chunks on tortillas with just shredded cheese/lettuce/sour cream sauce/Pico on the side. Enchilada(chicken) had very good red sauce but tortillas were tough..maybe a bit more cheese to help? Margherita was ok..small glasses for $7. Good chips and salsa!

Bartram Location. I have not had La Nopalera in a few years and we recently decided to give it a try. I ordered the Fish Tacos with Flour tortillas and my friend ordered the chicken Quesadilla. We also got Mango margaritas. The food was so good! We talked about our food for 2 weeks afterwards. The food was fresh and flavorful. Not to mention how accommodating our server was. She was attentive and made sure we enjoyed our meal. We are instant fans! Amazing customer service from start to finish. We will definitely be back.

Today was my first and last time purchasing food from here. It was sup-par at best. Burrito was soggy, beans watery and runny no taste and the rice was old and crunchy. ?Food: 1/5

We frequent La Nop on a pretty regular basis since they are in the neighborhood. Usually, we just go for the margaritas (best in town! but we also order food more than half the time. The food is good, flavorful and is always freshly prepared. This is, in our opinion, the best tasting Tex/Mex in Mandarin, as well as being better than many other places throughout the town. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that there is occasionally an issue with service. For instance, during out last visit this past weekend, we had to ask someone to find our server several times to get service, and this was not during a busy time. Typically we sit at the bar and the service there is always good.

We went to do a quick lunch at 11:30am because we had a good dinner there once. We were the only people in there today and had terrible service. The food however was the worst. Tacos with nothing on it. Fish chunks that looked and tasted microwaved. We took a few bites of our food and left. I have never had such gross tacos. Never again.
