Bidrage med feedbackAmazing place to go for some tasty food. Went for lunch and the staff were super friendly and gave great recommendations! I already can’t wait to go back again!
My son and I used to go here frequently. Not after today. Food wasn't that good and now they add fish to their macaroni salad... an unexpected and unwelcome surprise. I'm not going back... it is a shame because I used to like it.
Love, love, love that you 're here doing Hawaiian grindz. I almost couldn 't believe it when I saw L&L Hawaiian, I thought No Way . These are all over Oahu. I call it Hawaiian comfort food. I miss the islands and the food, but this made me smile. I expect to make my way through the menu.ʻono, ʻakaʻaka koʻu ʻuhane.
Delicious food at good prices! My favorite is the bulgogi fries; if you order online, they aren't on the menu. When you go in or if you order by phone, be sure to try them! I'd say 5 stars for the fries, for sure; everything else I've had so far is ehh, 4 stars. Pretty tasty, but not my favorite; it's still good for the price, though. Very fast counter service and friendly employees!
As a kanaka Hawaiian born and raised on the islands my whole life, I can say it's very nice to see L&L start popping up in Florida. Was bummed that when we arrived they said they do not carry laulau at this location. But either way we wanted to support the brand and get some plate lunch so we bought a ton of stuff. Here's what we thought of everythingChef special-bulgogi fried: SO GOOD. These are thin shoestring french fries covered in cheese, sliced bulgogi, and spicy mayonnaise. Decadent, rich, and well worth $11Teri beef burger: Just like home. Simple with just lettuce and onion on top. Beef was cooked and seasoned well, bread was nice and soft. Great value for $4Bbq mix plate: consists of cowboy ribs, barbecue beef, and barbecue chicken. Everything on the plate was tasty and well cooked.Kalbi ribs: good flavor but too thin cut in comparison to the traditional L&L plate lunch style kalbi (trust me I've been going to these all over Hawaii my entire life)Malasadas: these aren't authentic Hawaiian malasadas. They're about three times too small, and there's no options for filling. Their comfortable to the fried donuts at the Chinese restaurants. Still very yummy, but definitely not malasada like home. Would love to see them edit the recipe to make them about three to four times larger, and offer fillings like Bavarian cream, chocolate, raspberry jelly, etc.Hawaiian sun drinks they only had guava. Would have loved to see more options as I normally buy about six of these to take home. The scoop of mac salad that comes on the plate lunches is sad, only about half of an actual scoop. They definitely need to be a bit more generous with that since it's a staple in the brand. Tables are scratched up an old looking even though the place has only been open for 2 years. They have these weird star-shaped high tops that have nothing to do with Hawaii and look more like Texas. But they did have keali'i reichel on the television, and some nice Hawaiian paintings on the wall. The young man at the register was very friendly and chatted with us through lunch, which was very nice.Prices are fair, and actually quite a bit lower than the Sarasota location before they shut down. $10 to $14 for a regular size plate lunch with two scoops of rice, mac salad, cabbage, and your entree. $7 for a good size sandwich with fries and a drink. Excellent lunch or dinner spot for the whole family. We will definitely be back, and we hope this franchise owner decides to open in Orlando or Melbourne next!!Vegetarian options: Nope.Dietary restrictions: This is a Hawaiian plate lunch spot. If you're looking for vegetarian, gluten-free, keto type of stuff you need to go somewhere else. Hawaiian food is meat, carbs, and sauces. It's delicious, it's not healthy, and it's not meant to be.
