Jax Fish Fry - Jacksonville

Super tasty!! Clean and fresh seafood. If you were blind folded you would not know there was fish frying up in here. I had the lobster roll and that was my first and I LOVED ???? It!! My husband had the chicken tenders and the basket was empty!! Loved the ???? fries. I like mayo with my fries and that was a lovely addition to the meal!! The kitchen staff was well organized and not Manic, even though I could hear a little training going on , they never missed a ????beat!!. We will be back!!!

This was our first experience with this restaurant and it was not disappointing. The food was very good, the portions were adequate but not excessive. The service was very fast and friendly and the ordering process was easy. They don't have an extensive menu but I think this is due to the fact they have mastered a number of dishes and stick to them. We had the lobster roll and as a former resident of an island in Down East Maine, I can say they got it right. The dining area and the restrooms were very clean. Parking and exit to the street were stress free. We will definitely return here again.

I wanted to give this place a try after seeing this delicious lobster roll picure floating around on Facebook. Upon visiting I was told the lobster roll is made cold so decided to give something else a try. We ordered the Buffalo chicken sandwich, the burger sliders and the shrimp roll. The not so little shrimp sandwich only has 5 shrimp, I would stay away from the burger sliders they are tasteless patties no condiments on them. Personally the fries and onion rings are the best thing they have on the menu. It's a nice small establishment. Very plain and simple. The prices are cheap but the amount of food is very scarce as well. If wanting a quick snack this place may be an option. The hype was just that hype. I was honestly disappointed after reading previous reviews.

Very clean and adorable fried seafood place. Simple menu but delicious food. My boyfriend had fried cod basket, I had fried clams roll. The fried cod is outstanding! The batter is really light but crispy. Also, the fries are really good too. Even you aren't a seafood person, worth to try their fries! We will be back definitely!

Got the lobster roll and the clam roll because why not? They do the chilled version of the lobster roll still delicious. Everything was cooked perfectly. These dip style french fries are perfect for their different sauces they have available. Love that they don't over season their batter for the fry, they let the flavor of the product shine through. This will be a regular stop for me now I've got plenty more to try on the menu.
