Island Fresh - Jacksonville

We were at this place a few years ago. one of the best Cuban sandwiches I had. I was back a few times. we live on the other side of jacksonville. Today my wife had a medical appointment that brought us back. I am currently at the cardiac rehab and was put on a herbal diet. that we know this place is vegan, they have not disappointed. had plants based chicken adobe. fantastic! we will be back

Quinoa dishes are fantastic and I always get the cuban coffee. can't go wrong.

We would like to explore a new place to eat and find this restaurant through LocalFlavor.com they have a good license and decided to try it. we ordered 2 chic grilled chicken and steak as well as the cuban philly sandwich. After I paid for eating, I noticed that the prices we were charged differ from their menu. it was a dollar more for each chic. I also asked for ice water and later found out that I bought bottled water. I wish I knew before I paid. at the arrival of eating the presentation looks good and we were thrilled to try. eating is in order and also a good size. they close early at 18 o'clock to dinner, so we wanted to be here early enough to feed.

Athletes and fitness people! This is YOUR place! Healthy, delicious food that makes meal prep a dream! I placed my first order of ten different items. I'm working my way through them and haven't been disappointed yet! So far I've tried the chicken cordon bleu very good. The Cuban sandwich WOW! For someone who rarely allows herself bread, I could not believe how delicious and low calorie it was! Also excellent is the protein rice pudding , chocolate chip protein bites to satisfy a sweet tooth. The breakfast burrito was huge and had so much meat it was two meals for me. Everything was fresh and very good quality and the Cuban influence in many of the dishes is soooo tasty! Highly recommend supporting this wonderful local business !
