Courthouse Caffe - Jacksonville

This was the second time at Another Broken Egg, but first this place. That was better experience than my first. My friends and I were on Saturday morning for breakfast for a friend's birthday. It wasn't too busy at 9:00. Maybe it was the weather, but we were happy. We had about six in our party. Alexis was our server and she was wonderful. I have the cinnamon roll French Toast with scrambled eggs and bacon and coffee. The French toast was really good, but super sweet. I think it would be better to share with another. The rumbutter sauce is great that I didn't need the syrup. The agitator wasn't great. A kind of rubber. The bacon was cooked well. The coffee tasted good. My friends enjoyed all their meals.

I wanted to try this place before. I could finally fall to 5/5/22. This place didn't disappoint. You have a choice for indoor and outdoor eating that I love. The place is very clean, spacious and beautifully decorated. I was really welcomed. They weren't busy, so I sat right away. My server was nice too. I ordered the rum cake of French toast, with agitated eggs and house sausage. I also had a Grand Mimosa. Everything was presented to BEAUTIFULLY! The rum Cake french Toast was HEAVENLY. I didn't use the side of the syrup they gave you. You don't need it. The rum sauce with which it is served is DELICIOUS. It is a limited time, but I hope they consider it a basic attitude. The sausage was good. I wish it had more fun, but it was still delicious. My musosa was also excellent. The menu has many offers. I can't expect to go back and try new things.

Everything in the menu looks so good that it was hard to decide. I finally went with the shrimps Bennie (I think was the name). I wasn't disappointed. So tasteful! I also bought a bottle of her pepper sauce for home. YUM! I will be back soon to try some of their other delicious options!

An amazing place for brunch!!!! Hey the lemon blueberry mimosas wow and I have the highest omelette, it is to die for!!! Please to be Amy, your server is the best!!! And Amelia would choose to sit for you

Twas my first time eating at this location. Service was super friendly but I realize they must 've been busy in these times as we had to ask multiple times for refills and water. The entrees ordered were good: Salmon omelette had plenty of smoked salmon, with a perfect touch of red onions, spinach, and capers. My bagel was perfectly toasted, and though it said everything seasoned cream cheese, it just tasted like cream cheese( it did have some poppies I barely saw). I never like home fries as a side as I see it as a poor sub for crisp golden hash browns, fries, or tots, as they usually are soft, undercooked and not crisp. The server did state that their home fries were deep fried, and I specifically asked for them crispy, but they still were fried, barely crisp cubes, with some seasoning. Only two places I can think of that pulled off perfect home fries and this wasn 't it unfortunately. The irony is, they made a great crispy potato cake which was the foundation that had poached egg, ham and hollandaise. Wish that was offered as a potato side, instead of home fries, lol. It was good, with mushrooms on top. Not bad, I 'd go back for the omlettee again or try new items as well..
