Consistently inconsistent!! I love this place! And when the food is properly prepared, it is really good!!! But it never seems to be the consistent.First, I want to say that the employees always seem to be really nice except that I question the ability of the cook occasionally.I especially like the Alaskan Fish platter. When it 's properly battered, cooked and presented, it is really good. Sometimes the pieces are generous with a nice batter. Other times, the pieces are small with little to almost no batter.The french fries are usually good and generous. But there are times where the generosity isn 't there and/or the fries are soggy and non-crispy.The hush puppies are usually pretty good but there have been times when they were somewhat burnt.Overall, I love this place. I just wish it was consistently good as it used to be.UPDATE:Approximately August 25, 2022, I gave a coupon for Alaskan Fish platter to the cashier. I told her that I wanted what was on the coupon. She came across as not really wanting to be there. After approximately 15 minutes another person brought my order to me. I ordered Alaskan Fish . I got one slim fillet of fish and a platter of baby shrimp. NOT what I ordered. NOT what the coupon was for.I 'm beginning to think that management needs to hire some people who really cares about their jobs and NOT simply show up for work because they 're required to!

Food was greasy and flavorless. I was annoyed especially since seeing great reviews. Or maybe I just caught them on a bad day. I had the fried fish, fries and corn.

This place was a big NO! It's nearby and my grandson, a picky eater loves fried fish, so I thought we'd give it a try. Got takeout. When I got it home, the order was wrong, and what we did get was overcooked and dry. .ost of it got thrown out. Major disappointment.

This place is amazing! From the decor to the staff and especially the food, Carolina Fish Fry Company was a great lunch stop!

Decided to try a place that I never have again. Upon first glance it doesn't seem glamorous, but as you walk inside you come upon a clean and nicely decorated environment. The staff was friendly and service was pretty fast. They have a nice menu there and I'll have to go back to try more. The restrooms were pretty clean also. We ordered our food and sat down, then the food was brought to the table. As for the food, it was brought to the table hot and nicely presented. Everyone that was with me enjoyed their food and stated that they would eat there again. Our ages were 7 to adult. I cant give away my age. Lol. I had the jumbo shrimp with fries, hush puppies, and Mac and cheese. The shrimp was breaded well and tasted fresh and not like it was frozen. It was cooked perfectly to my eyes and taste. The hush puppies were full of flavor and fresh and the Mac and cheese was also great. It is made with a white cheddar which I am not a fan of, but I enjoyed it and wanted more. The fries were a bit soggy for me but edible. As for price wise, I think that they are reasonably priced for the amount of food and quality that they give you. I will definitely be back here to try more food and its not just the food that will bring me back, but also the staff. Keep it up y'all, you're doing great.
