Cantina Louie - Jacksonville

Our server was wonderful and quite apologetic, which I appreciated. I requested to swap the steak for shrimp on the fajita nachos, but after she consulted with the manager, she informed me that there would be an extra charge of $1.00. I have been a fan of this restaurant since it first opened and for some time afterward, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the only issue I encountered. I don’t think I will be returning.

It was a pleasant Sunday afternoon, and I appreciated that it’s located close to home. The restaurant offers authentic Mexican flavors. I tried the Burrito Supreme and the street corn today and they were delicious!

I give this place high marks for lunchtime, and I can definitely see why! The food was fresh and hot, and the portions were huge. They also offer bottomless chips and salsa, which is a fantastic bonus. The atmosphere is great, and the service was excellent. I wish I could have tried the dinner menu so I could enjoy some margaritas, especially since our hotel is right next door, but I had too many errands to run and needed to stay clear-headed. Maybe next time I'm in town! The chorizo nachos were amazing!

I'd say 4.5 stars. I had the surfer chick taco and the mahi taco.The small piece of mahi was very,very dry. Otherwise it was very good. The red sangria was very good also.

The restaurant atmosphere was very interesting to look at. The service was excellent and the tacos and quesadillas tasted very good. Convenient location and close to the theater. It also has a bar area section. I definitely keep this spot in mind in the future.
